Willis Boyd

Willis Boyd was one of three "ring leaders" of a black insurrection in Yazoo County in Mississippi.  After being arrested and while being transported to Silver City for trial, Mr. Boyd was shot to death, his body weighted down and thrown into the Yazoo River.
